This felt like I was delving into a dream, it painted the vivid picture of someone confidently manifesting their desires. I find myself yearning for that same autonomy and freedom in my life. I desire a job that not only excites me but also allows me the flexibility to support my son as he engages in his extracurricular activities without the need to request time off. I want a career that aligns with my passions and gives me the freedom to balance both work and family life seamlessly. Thank you for sharing, Amy!

Let me know if you find one of those!

I have a list of such fantasy dream jobs. One of them is that I want to own and run a seaside cafe.

Oh. Oh I most certainly will.

Sounds like a seaside cafe I would happily patron.

eeeeeeh yeppp.

KPIs need to die.

I can feel your Job Hunting Blues reverberating against my Job Hunting Blues.

I don't know if those cool fancy jobs actually exist outside of the Already Rich world. I feel like the small subsection of cool jobs is actually just the jobs people with rich parents who don't really need to work for a living somehow made for themselves, and they end up being profitable because money sticks to money. That's my theory.

I do know some people doing some very off-the-wall things but those are, like, you have to stumble into it. Or be willing to be very random with your life choices and see where you land.

I actually interviewed to be a tattoo artist apprentice a few years ago. They didn't take me but they were very nice about my work, said I should try again. But it's hard to convince your family that at 45 with a freshly signed mortgage you should start going into tattooing.

At least I went for the interview.

Sigh.
